BioDynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release System (BBTRS®) with Sound and Vibrational Healing

Using the BBTRS® and a variety of sound tools, Conor will gently guide you into a state of deep awareness and full body presence to allow you to explore your own natural ability to restore balance, to heal and to relieve tension caused by suppressed emotions, long term stress, and unresolved traumatic experiences.

BioDynamic Breathwork is designed to break through layers of body armoring, inviting the release of any trapped mental, emotional and physical blockages. It is a system of breath and body therapy which integrates deep connected conscious breathing with somatic movement, body awareness techniques, touch, music and meditation. When combined in an integrated flow in a safe and comfortable environment these techniques result in the release of long held trauma from the physical and mental structures.

Conor believes that we are all our own shaman and that we all have the power inside of us to start the process of physical, emotional and cellular re-balancing. This can start simply with the breath, the bridge to our vital creative energy and the link between our conscious and unconscious selves. He also incorporates shamanic energy balancing techniques as well as a big emphasis on sound and vibrational healing through the use of particular music and a variety of live instruments.

Trauma and Tension Release Exercises [TRE®]

Jo shares tools that are inspired by her own journey in learning to listen to her body and be compassionate with herself.  Having danced professionally for 11 years, in 2012 she began to transition from the dance performance world to the world of dance as a healing practice, meditation and a tool for self-expression.
Tension & Trauma Release Exercises [TRE®] is a technique that uses a series of simple exercises that stretch and fatigue the body to evoke a natural tremor mechanism that is accessible to all mammals including humans. These tremors can help to release daily stresses as well as deeply held tension and trauma. It works on a neurological, physiological and emotional level. This tremor mechanism has the ability to release stress, restore balance and resolve the fight/flight/freeze responses held in the body that keep us held prisoner to a reactive nervous system.
TRE® is a practice of learning to trust the body, bringing it back to safety to reveal, feel and release whatever has been suppressed, increasing our capacity to feel more so we can heal more. Jo believes it is the practice of surrendering to the body and its innate healing ability that builds trust and fuller expression in daily life.

Cranio Sacral Reflexology
Emmett Technique

Beatrice is a warm, caring, supportive and empowering therapist whose unique treatments incorporate meditations, visualisations, chakra balancing and colour breathing techniques enhancing harmony and mind-body balance, healing, stress and emotional release.

A fully qualified therapist with nearly 15 years’ experience in the holistic field, she is an Ayurvedic Yoga Massage therapist, a Cranio-Sacral-Reflexologist, an Emmett Technique practitioner and instructor, a Doula, a Facial rejuvenation lift massage therapist and a yoga teacher for children with special needs and mainstream.

Over the years she specialised in fertility issues, pregnancy, learning disabilities, autism, anxiety and stress related issues, acute and chronic muscle related pain and cancer.

Cranio Sacral Reflexology (CSR)
CSR combines and integrates Reflexology with Cranio Sacral Therapy and Osteopathy. It’s a non- invasive treatment, with profound effect on a variety of system’s dysfunction, particularly in the sphere of trauma, including physical trauma, such as whiplash, or emotional trauma where it deals with the torsion or distortion of the meningeal membranes enveloping the spinal cord.

CSR is a therapeutic method that combines the use of pressure on specific areas of the foot or hand that relate to the 12 cranial nerves, as well as on the pulse of the cerebro spinal fluid (CSF) which surrounds the brain and spinal cord. The applied pressure stimulates and re-harmonises the Cranial Rhythm - Primary Respiratory Movement (PRM), which can be felt in the feet as a pulse or a wave and is quite distinct form the pulse of the heart.

The distinction between Cranio Sacral Therapy and CSR is that while the former accesses the CSF from the head, the latter can achieve that from a point in the foot, hand and the head.

CSR is a step forward in the application of Reflexology. It harnesses the extraordinary potential of the creative brain to bring homeostasis and health through Reflexology. It was developed by Dr. Martine Faure-Alderson, as a distinct methodology since 1974.

Emmett Technique
The Emmett Technique is a unique, gentle, safe and simple to apply muscle release body therapy. Created and developed in Australia by Ross Emmett, a qualified Instructor of Massage Therapy and Bowen Therapy, as well as a Trigger therapy , NLP practitioner and Clinical Hypnotherapist.

New to the UK in 2007, this Technique may be enjoyed by people of all ages, from babies to the
elderly It is based on the belief that light touch can trigger a relaxation response in the soft tissue of the body. The sequence of muscle activation points used in this technique can unlock muscle memory and emotional attachments. The activation gives the brain the opportunity to set up a new state of homeostasis and provides an opportunity for re-alignment of the body, resulting in feelings of improved comfort often instantaneously.

Before leaving the clinic most clients experience beneficial effects before the end of the treatment and notice dramatic changes in flexibility, balance, pain levels, ranges of movement, breathing and other functions depending upon the areas worked. The treatment is usually performed over light clothing and generally takes between 15 to 50 minutes. The Emmett Technique is truly a complementary therapy as it combines easily with all other bodywork therapies to enhance its performance.

Typical symptoms that may be assisted include: Neck and shoulder restriction; Lymphatic congestion and breathing; Migraines or cluster headaches, dizziness and sinus congestion; Abdominal cramps and bowel discomfort; Fluid retention; Discomfort during pregnancy: Back and hip discomfort, sciatica, knee and ankle restrictions. Furthermore, the relaxing nature of the technique results in people typical responses such as: a sense of lightness within the body; more restful sleep; enhanced mood.
